  1. 2023

    In view of the history of growth and management, in February 2023, the Company received an investment of BRL 601 million through the fund managed by L Catterton, where it entered the group as a minority shareholder, adding even more to the commercial strategy, culture, and corporate governance of Grupo Cantu Store. Also in early 2023, the Company announced the acquisition of DigiTire, a truck tire distributor based in Connecticut, USA, corroborating its international expansion strategy.

  2. 2022

    Concurrently with the establishment of Grupo Cantu Store and, in continuity with this expansion process, Cantu Store obtained, in March 2022, the registration of a class “A” securities issuer with CVM, cementing the corporate reorganization and branding project above. In December of the same year, the Company also announced the acquisition of Verum, a technology and logistics platform that offers solutions for retail.

  3. 2021

    In 2021, an important step was taken: the branding project was completed, transforming Grupo Level brand into CantuStore. Creating a new visual identity and promoting even more positive cultural aspects already arising from the tire business. Cantu Store, incorporated on July 21, 2021, becomes the new non-operational holding company ahead of Cantu Pneus and Pneustore, controlling the other companies in the group and seeking to unify these channels. In addition, with the creation of SpeedMax, the Group’s first own tire brand and focused on B2B and B2Fleet customers, PneuStore launched the Itaro Pneus brand, exclusively for the B2C channel.

  4. 2018

    In 2018, with the purchase by Mr. Humberto of 68% of his family’s shares, Grupo Level was founded, a continuation of the business of the former Grupo Cantu, composed of Cantu Pneus, PneuStore, Pneusfácil, and Itaro. This new group is intended to provide different businesses so that everyone is served by the same SSC (Shared Service Center), and within these businesses, Cantu Pneus and Pneustore were included.

  5. 2016

    Focusing on the expansion of digital business, the Pneusfácil brand and Itaro Comércio de Pneus e Peças Automotivas S.A. (currently ITR Comércio de Pneus S.A.) were acquired, both small e-commerces in the tire market. With these takeovers, the entire volume of accesses and purchases of both websites were transferred to PneuStore, which now has a great share in the domestic segment. Meanwhile, he started the expansion of OTR (Off the Road) and AGRO (agricultural) product portfolio, placing Cantu Pneus and Pneustore as one of the most complete mix in tires throughout the country, keeping up with the wide array of products offered by the Company’s main competitors.

  6. 2012

    In 2012, Pneustore was founded, an e-commerce aimed at serving potential personal consumers of tires across the country. In 2013, the sales of tires in marketplaces began, pioneering the sale in the e-commerce modality.

  7. 2009

    The expansion of the business over the years resulted in the opening of new opportunities in the tire market, when, in 2009, he started to import tires for light and utility vehicles.

  8. 2006

    In 2006, Mr. Humberto Gabriel Cantu left his career and, at the invitation of family members, joined the transport industry of the then Grupo Cantu, belonging to his family, through an opportunity to restructure one of the business units that worked in the transport segment. By reviewing the domestic tire market, he saw that it was a very concentrated market as concerns suppliers, and very fragmented in demand. He then started tackling the first imports by Grupo Cantu’s companies to test the market.
